Ballet Gear

You'll need ballet slippers  if you are beginning to learn ballet. Pointe shoes  should not be worn by anyone under 11. Most ballerinas own leotards  for performances and practices. Barres  will no doubt be in your formal practice facility, but you may want to invest in barres for your own home, as ballet takes countless hours of practicing on your own to truly master its techniques.
