Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

The only words to describe this game are "brilliant" and "mind blowing". The visual presentation is amazing, while the story is truly captivating. This is one of the most entertaining games on the system to date.

Grand Theft Auto IV

The latest GTA features all the pros of the old games. If you liked any of the other GTA games, you'll love this one. Based in a surprisingly accurate virtual New York City, this game boasts great graphics and fun driving and shooting features.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot

This game features gruesome, yet fulfilling, hand-to-hand combat. The weapons are creative, and the audiovisual presentation is impressive. Evidence-gathering mechanics have been greatly improved over the original. This game has been nominated as a great sequel, meaning it makes outstanding improvements on the original and creates a new, creative game.

FIFA 08

Football fans will love this game! Though it is actually a surprisingly difficult game with a steep learning curve, the graphics are amazing and both the online and offline play is of outstanding quality and depth.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

This adventure RPG features amazing graphics and over 200 hours of play time. The good news for those of you buying this game for the PS3? You get an extra race called the Knights of the Nine.

The Orange Box

The famous Call of Duty series changes things up and ditches the WWII scene for a modern battlefield. Ninja Gaiden Sigma

This is one of the best action games of all time. Make sure you have a decent stomach to handle this game: it can get pretty brutal at times. Already a Ninja Gaiden fan? You'll love the addition of awesome boss characters and little additions here and there that improve upon the series.

Resistance: Fall of Man

Set in a bleak 1950s alternate history in which mankind was annihilated by a mysterious menace, it's up to you to grab a gun and save what's left of civilization.

Battlefield: Bad Company

This game puts you in control of a squad of renegade soldiers who infiltrate enemy territory for revenge and profit. The game features an impressive collection of gadgets and vehicles, as well as a fleshed out single player mode (finally) and 24-player multiplayer maps.
